I spent a wonderful afternoon nestled in the wild flowers in one of my new favourite spots at Jericho Beach.  Kaylea and Sid are such a down to earth, genuine couple.   I was thrilled to see all the props they brought with them, collected and crafted by the Bride herself.  I can’t wait to photograph their vintage inspired wedding in December!

A few photos from another Brock House Wedding.  Congratulations to an amazing couple, Marie and Angus, married on May 10, 2012, on a beautiful sunny day in Vancouver.   So many precious moments throughout the day.   I especially enjoyed our portrait session on the beach!  It was a great honor to witness Marie’ and Angus’ wedding through the camera lens and to meet their  families.

Feeling grateful today for a very special maternity session with Mama Jai expecting her second baby any day now.   We spent a couple of hours at Jericho beach in my favourite spot and headed over to the beach to watch the sunset.   Here are a few photos from our session.   Looking forward to capturing the little earthling’s first days in this world.

Congratulations to Olivia and Max, one of the kindest and most gracious couples I have ever met.  Olivia’s and Max’s beautiful ceremony was held on April 28, 2012, at the Brock House in Vancouver.               I was deeply moved by their very special connection and the love they expressed for their parents and families.   Due to the weather we didn’t make it to the beach but the rain didn’t stop us from stepping outside for few family and bride and groom portraits.

Spent a great afternoon last Sunday with Tamara & Erik capturing some special engagement moments in the Stanley Park area.   What a fun and outgoing couple!  I loved working with them and look forward to photographing their wedding in May 2013.   Congratulations on your engagement!

A few favorites from a pregnancy studio session today with parents-to-be (for a second time) Jai and Corey.   I love the way they look at each other and laugh together.  I can’t wait to meet and hold their baby girl or boy in my arms.

A few memories from a recent maternity studio session with Nelly and her adorable son.   Always exciting to witness through a camera lens a little Earthling bond with his mommy and little brother or sister.

You may remember Jason’s and Cynthia’s pregnancy session from a few weeks ago.  Baby Alexa arrived shortly after on February 18, 2012.   I had the great pleasure of meeting Alexa last weekend and photographing some special family moments with her parents and big sister Zimba.
